Welcome!!!
This blog has been created as a location for us at LandAmerica to post the questions and answers to the questions that come up during our training sessions.
We will be updating this as frequently as possible. Please check back often to see the latest posts.
And who knows, if we get fancy we may end up posting some tips and tricks too!
They only show up on the planos at the end of the CMA.
As for Special Listing Conditions, it has never been a required field and I understand what and why they want that but as is much of the MLS system, the information available is only as good as what the Agents put in and we can’t police everybody on every field. All we can do is educate them as best we can and hope over time they use the tools available appropriately. If they want to suggest changes to policy, they will need to get with their representatives on the MLS committee and work with them. That’s the only way something like this will change. Business Rules are all governed by the MLS Committee and the ARMLS Board of Directors.
The system will only accept the 1st picture for the business card. There will be a way to do that in the future as any of the business card info as well as flyer info can be customized, but that is a very advanced section of flexmls we won't get into for a while. What we have now is already more than Tempo did, but I guess some still want more.
At this point, that is how the system is. We have been recommending that agents get with their favorite title company for help since these sheets are basically just a HUD-1. (Also another marketing op for your guys…) Once they create one, they can save it as a template that they can use over and over with only a couple minor updates. FBS is working on getting the system set up to auto-fill in the near future, but it may be a month or two before that is ready.
Unfortunately not. There is still no way to transfer data between the two systems.
They will be available when the system goes live. For more information, go to
www.newarmls.com, select
Training and scroll down to “The New flexmls-based User Profile Sheets Are Here!” They have posted some samples but the new sheets cannot be used until July 28th.
Yes! The website wireless.flexmls.com has been setup as a 'thin' site and text only version.
Yes! From the dashboard, you can see the listings that are scheduled to expire within the next 7 days. If you go to
Preferences > General Preferences, you can edit the the listings to show on your desk top from 7 up to 999 days and you can also select to have an email Notification of Expired Listings sent.
Emails can be sent from FlexMLS today. However, the data is not current in the system. You can expect to have all the data, as well as your client information, in the new system on July 28th. Before this date, it is
not a 'live' system so we are recommending that you do not sent your clients emails from this system before the 28th.
